Each painting in this series captures a moment in time. Not the whole story, just part of it. Not the entire scene, just fragments. A poem, not a novel. An impulse or epiphany, not a fully formed thesis. When we look at a cropped section of a landscape, object, or figure through a viewfinder long enough, it becomes nothing and everything. A lingering glance, a flutter of the heart, an awareness of universal patterns, a sense of interconnection on both a cellular and a cosmic level. A spark to wake up!
