Description
Acrylic paint on wood panel
It is lightly snowing here in Vermont today, always an unusual sight during the spring, snowflakes whirling around forsythia and daffodils and dropping into Lake Champlain. This is a painting I made last summer. It reminds me of a day just like today. The title is inspired by a line in the poem Narcissa, by the brilliant Pulitzer Prize winning African American poet Gwendolyn Brooks.
